Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. After achieving fame through his performances in Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow He appeared in more 20 feature films, including The Core. He has also appeared in more than 22 shows on television like Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma and diagnosed at the age of 14 Qualls is a fighter. He was able to get rid of his cancer after two years. Being treated at such a young stage had a negative effect on the body. It hampered his development. When he first started to act, financial stability seemed like his ultimate ambition. The man had experienced hardship in his early years. In an interview, he said that if I do not have the financial security or feel out of control in the world, then I'm going to feel miserable. He thinks back to his childhood, and has a desire to take action against bullies. He says that cruelty breaks his heart. The perfect role for DJ is that of a real-life father. Director doesn't pick him to play those parts, however, he claims. It would be wonderful to one day be a parent himself, when the time comes when he can devote much less time working and devote it to his children.
