Ann Curry

Her broadcasting career began as an internship at KTVL Channel 10 Medford in Oregon. At age 22, she eventually became the first female journalist for the station. Later, she moved into the position of an anchor as well as reporter at KGW which was an NBC affiliate in Portland, Oregan. After four years, she relocating to Los Angeles as a reporter for KCBS-TV. She received 2 Emmy Awards during the six years with the station.
